Did you receive this postcard? Postcards were mailed
September 4 to about 140,000 residents who may be eligible to vote but are not
registered. You can register online, or
we can send you a paper registration form.
Those who received a postcard have a Washington driver
license or ID, but are not found in the voter database. Most of these people
have recently moved or turned 18. We caution all postcard recipients to read
the eligibility criteria closely before registering to vote.
If you believe you’re already registered to vote, you may
have received this card in error. Please call (800) 448-4881 to confirm your
voter registration record is correct. We have not deleted anyone’s voter
registration record who received this postcard.
The Office of the Secretary of State is responsible for
facilitating accurate, fair, and accessible elections. In keeping with that
mission, we want to make sure every eligible citizen has the opportunity to
vote in the upcoming election. Now that you’ve been given this reminder, you
will be permanently removed from future mailings unless the address on your
driver license changes.
