County Elections Departments Disability Advisory Committees

County Elections Departments are looking for people with disabilities and providers of services, to serve on their Disability Advisory Committees.

If you are interested, please contact your County Elections Office.

What is a Disability Advisory Committee?

As a result of a Washington State Law RCW 29A.04.223, each county has an advisory committee that includes people with disabilities. One purpose of the disability advisory committee is to provide input to county elections departments regarding reasonable accommodations that may be necessary to ensure equal access so that voters with disabilities are able to vote independently and privately.
