The Elections Department administers all federal, state and local elections in Pacific County, registers voters, maintains voter registration records, and provides voter information. Currently, there are approximately 14,504 registered voters in Pacific County.
All voters will receive their ballots in the mail. The courthouse will remain open for ballot drop-off and use of disability voting equipment between 8:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. on Election Day. Disability voting equipment is also available 18 days before the election through election day.
Pacific County Elections Department will be conducting a Logic and Accuracy Test for the April 23, 2019 Special Election on April 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM. This test will be conducted in the Auditor's office election room located at 300 Memorial Dr. South Bend, WA 98586.
The Pacific County Canvassing Board, or its designated
representatives, will convene on Thursday April 11th at 10:00 a.m., to canvass returns of
the Special Election held April 23rd, 2019 and will continue each day, if
necessary until certification of the election on May 3rd, 2019. The board will examine ballots, determine the status of provisional
and challenged ballots and perform other canvassing duties.
The canvassing board will meet to certify the election
results at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday May 2nd and Friday, May 3rd, 2019.
All meetings will be held in the Elections Room at the
Auditors Office, located at 300 Memorial Dr, South Bend.
