An Accessible Voting Unit (AVU), also know as our AutoMARK, is available at the Jefferson County Auditor's Office from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. weekdays, beginning 20 days before Election Day with Election Day hours from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The AVU is a tool - an "electronic pen" equipped with audio and visual technology - to assist voters who have a difficult time seeing and/or marking a ballot with a regular pen. It allows voters to vote a secret ballot independently. The side entrance to the County Courthouse, located on Cass St., is ADA accessible.
For information regarding assistance with voter registration, voting, election information or accessibility issues, please contact the Election Department at (360) 385-9119 or (360) 385-9117.
