Voters' Pamphlet​

All freeholders who file will have the option to submit a statement, biography, and photo. Freeholder submissions will appear online only. Submission guidelines and deadlines are given in the link below.

Filing for Freeholders 

Freeholder Filing Week - August 27 - 31, 8:30am - 4:30pm - filing is In-Person only
Last day to withdraw - Tuesday September 4th, 4:30pm
If no one files for a position, the Board of County Commissioners will submit 3 candidates for each position, and the elected freeholders will then choose who will fill the vacant position. 

Please note: 
- Candidates are required to provide an email address when filing. 
- If you do not have your own personal email, you may use a spouse's, friend's, sibling's, etc. (with their permission), or you may create a free email account with yahoo, msn, gmail, or other provider. 
ALL communication with the candidate is done via email. 


- Candidates must be a registered voter in the district and shall have been a resident of Skagit County for a period of at least five (5) years prior to their election.
