Auditor's Office Seeking To Appoint Committees on Local Measures

The Auditor's Office is seeking persons interesting in forming committees
to prepare statements advocating for voters' approval or rejection for local measures in the General Election Voters' Pamphlet. The local measures are the proposed Skamania County Parks and Recreation District No.1 and a Levy Lid Lift to Support a Resource Director.

Any interested persons must form their committee and submit the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of a maximum of three members to the Auditor's Office no later than Monday, August 29, 2016. The deadline for submission of statements is Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

August 2, 2016 Primary Election Results:

The Primary Election was certified by the Canvassing Board on August 16th. Official results can be found here.

Proposed Underwood Parks & Rec District

The proposed Underwood Parks and Recreation District No. 1 has qualified for the November General Election ballot. There will be a special 3-day filing period from August 23rd - August 25th for five commissioner positions for the proposed district. Elections are managed by the Auditor's Office, located on the second floor of the county courthouse. You may register to vote or make address changes during normal office hours. You may also register to vote or make changes at myvote.wa.gov.
The Election Department is open from 7:30AM to 8PM on election days. You may vote or drop off your ballots at the Auditor's Office or at an approved drop box location prior to 8pm on Election Day. If your ballot has been lost or damaged, you can contact the Elections Department during business hours or go to myvote.wa.gov  for a replacement.
