PROPOSITION NO. 1

VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 70

SCHOOL MODERNIZATION AND EXPANSION BONDS

 
 

The Board of Directors of Valley School District

 

No. 70 adopted Resolution No. 2-04/05, concerning a

 

proposition to finance school modernization and

 

expansion.  This proposition would authorize the

 

District to modernize and expand Valley School

 

(construct additional classrooms, science lab and

 

junior high school gymnasium; upgrade heating,

 

ventilation, phone and electrical system; improve

 

technology; restore historic White School House for

 

instructional purposes; and expand parking facilities);

 

issue no more than $3,928,785 of general obligation

 

bonds maturing within 21 years; and levy annual excess

 

property taxes to pay and retire the bonds, all as

 

provided in Resolution No. 2-04/05.  Should this

 

proposition be:
