The Board of Directors of Chewelah School District |

No. 36 adopted Resolution No. 2004-2005-01, concerning |

a proposition to finance school expansion and |

modernization. This proposition would authorize the |

District to consolidate educational facilities and |
|
services into two schools by expanding and modernizing |
|
Jenkins High School to accommodate Grades 7-8, expanding |
|
Gess Elementary School to accommodate Grade 6 and |
|
closing Jenkins Middle School (Grades 6-8); issue |
|
no more than $13,700,658 of general obligation bonds |
|
maturing within 21 years; and levy annual excess |
|
property taxes to pay and retire the bonds, all as |
