High School Construction Bonds - $7,800,000
The Board of Directors of Chewelah School District No. 36 adopted Resolution No. 99/00-10, concerning a proposition to finance and construct a new high school. This proposition would authorize the District to construct and equip a new Jenkins High School, issue no more than $7,800,000 of General Obligation Bonds maturing within 20 years, and levy annual excess property taxes to pay and retire such bonds, all as provided in Resolution No. 99/00-10. Resolution 2000-3
EMS Levy
The Board of Commissioners of Stevens County Fire Protection District No. 1 adopted Resolution 2000-3 EMS Levy concerning the need for additional funds for emergency medical services. This ballot proposition, if approved, will authorize the District to levy a regular property tax in the sum of $0.25 per $1,000.00 of the assessed value of property in the District each year for six years beginning in 2000 to be collected in 2001, for the provision of emergency aid and medical services, all as provided in Resolution 2000-3.
